FCC Technology
SINOPEC proprietary FCC technology include a series of residue catalytic cracking technology in which heavy hydrocarbons, such as VGO, AR, VTB and DAO etc. can be used as feedstock to produce C2, C3 & C4 olefins, LPG, gasoline and LCO. The SINOPEC FCC family technologies mainly include the following specified technologies:
A. Deep Catalytic CrackingDCC
Deep Catalytic CrackingDCCis a catalytic conversion technology which uses heavy hydrocarbon feedstocks, such as VGO, VTB or VGO blended with DAO to produce light olefins (ethylene, propylene and butylenes), LPG, gasoline, and middle distillates etc. The technology mainly targets maximizing production of propylene (DCC-) or maximizing production of iso-olefins (DCC-). DCC process overcomes the limitation of conventional FCC process, with the propylene yield of DCC being 3-5 times of that of conventional FCC.
B. Technology for Maximizing Iso-paraffinMIP
Maximizing Iso-paraffin (MIP) is a technology for catalytically cracking heavy feed stocks. By adjusting the reaction conditions of cracking and conversion (isomerization, hydrogen transfer, alkylation) in the process of catalytic cracking, clean gasoline with low olefin content and high octane number can be produced.
C. A FCC Process for Producing Clean Gasoline and More Propylene (CGP)
CGP is a technology for catalytically cracking heavy feed stocks to produce gasoline with high octane number and low olefin content as well as more propylene.

D. Feed of Paraffinic Vacuum Residue FCC Technology (VRFCC)
VRFCC is a technology for production of LPG, gasoline and diesel distillates with paraffinic vacuum residue.
E. Catalytic Cracking Technology for Maximum Liquefied Gas and High-Octane Gasoline (MGG , ARGG)
MGGARGG(Maximizing Gas & Gasoline) is a technology for production of high yield of both LPG and high quality gasoline with all kinds of the conventional FCC feestock, including VGO, CGO, DAO and residues.
F. Maximizing Iso-olefins Catalytic Cracking Technology (MIO)
MIO (Maximizing Iso-olefin) is a residue fluid catalytic cracking process to maximize yields of iso-olefins and high octane number gasoline. Its feedstocks include VGO, VTB, DAO, etc.
G. Maximizing Gas and Diesel FCC Technology (MGD)
MGD is a process to maximize the yields of LPG and diesel with AR, VGO, or VR.
H. Flexible Dual-riser Fluid Catalytic Cracking Process (FDFCC-III)
Flexible dual-riser fluid catalytic cracking process (FDFCC-III), is a reliable proven process for production of clean fuel and integration of oil refining with chemical production.
