Delayed Coking Technology
Delayed coking technology is a thermal cracking process to upgrade and convert petroleum residue, asphalt, or slop oil into gas, naphtha, gas oil and petroleum coke. It mainly consists of heater (furnace), coking drums, fractionating section and gas recovering section.
