In accordance with the domestic pricing principle for oil products, National Development and Reform Commission announced in the [Notice on the Adjustment of Oil Product Prices] issued on March 26, 2006, that the current prices of oil products will be adjusted.

By the Notice, for Sinopec Corp., the intermediate retail price for 90# gasoline and 0# diesel oil would be raised by RMB 250/ton and RMB 150/ton respectively from March 26, among which the intermediate retail price for 90# gasoline and 0# diesel oil of European ? standard in Beijing would be raised by RMB 460/ton and RMB 340/ton respectively. The actual retail price for oil product can go up 8% compared with the intermediate retail price.
