Dec. 25th The 2000 Hong Kong International Invention Exhibition, sponsored National intellectual property organization, China invention association and Kong Kong productivity promotion bureau, was held in Hong Kong convention and exhibition center from November 16 to November 19. Over 600 inventions and technologies from invention units and individuals of fifteen countries and areas including US, Japan and South Korea participated. Sinopec sent fifteen of its major inventions and new technologies. All of them are patented in China. Some of them are also patented in US, Europe, Japan, Canada and other countries. The fifteen Sinopec inventions won seven gold prizes, five silver prizes and three bronze prizes. The gold medals went for High-activity, long-life continuous reforming catalyst, and hydro-treating refining catalyst for clean gasoline, catalyst serial for hydro-treating of residue, hydro-cracking catalysts, hydro de-alkyl of aromatics and alkyl transfer technology, YS serial of epoxyethane silver catalyst, and hydraulic-pressure energy-accumulation well repairing machine or drilling machine.
