Sinopec Tahe Branch (Tahe Branch for short) is located in the Petrochemical Park, Dongcheng District of Kuqa County, Xinjiang province. It is a new type of state-owned oil processing enterprises, which is the only one’s petrochemical enterprise of Sinopec in Xinjiang area.

Tahe branch mainly processes the Tahe Oilfield heavy crude oil, and crude oil processing capacity is 2.2 million tons per year. It mainly includes the following devices: Processing capacity of 1.2 million tons per year of Atmospheric-Coking Unit, one million tons per year of Gasoline and Diesel Hydrotreating Unit, 150,000 tons per year of Catalytic Reforming Unit, 70,000 tons per year of Gasoline Isomerization Unit, 20,000 tons per year of Sulfur Recovery Unit, 8,000 cubic meters per hour of Natural Gas to Hydrogen Unit, 0.5 million tons per year of Atmospheric and Vacuum Unit, 0.4 million tons per year of Grade “A” Asphalt Unit, and some assorted public works include oil storage and transportation, water, electricity, steam and so on.

Tahe branch produces 90#¡¢93# unleaded petrol, 0#¡¢-10#¡¢-20#¡¢-35# light diesel oil, 190# solvent oil, A¡¢B¡¢C grade asphalt consist of 50#¡¢70#¡¢90#¡¢110#, according with the "Highway Asphalt Pavement Construction Technical Specification "(JTGF40-2004) of Ministry of Communications, SBR modified asphalt, chemical light oil, liquefied petroleum gas, petroleum coke, sulphur, benzene and other petroleum products.

The transport of Tahe branch is convenient, and has its own dedicated rail lines. In virtue of the rail, the products can be sold directly Qinghai, Tibet, Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan, Shanxi, and other 17 provinces and autonomous regions. Various grades of asphalt production in short supply, therefore, it wins the trust of the majority of customers.
