Xi’an Petrochemical Company, which is the filiale of China Petroleum &Chemical Corporation, locates near Wei River bank, with Xi’an airport expressway in the east .And it is engaged in oil refining, road asphalt, refined chemical products. Xi’an Petrochemical Company, with crude oil processing capability of 2,500,000 tons a year, is equipped with the following devices: ordinary decompression distillation devices, ordinary press distillation devices, catalyzing cracking devices, hydrogenation hydrogen producing devices A- level asphalt devices, gas fractionation devices, sulfur reclaiming devices and so on. And also the relevant storage and transport facilities are ready. The main products are gasoline, diesel oil ,fuel oil, 90#¡¢100#¡¢140# road asphalt, AH-90 heavy transport road asphalt, SBS alter-nature asphalt, liquefied petroleum gas ,naphtha ,propylene and so on .
Xi’an Petrochemical Company used to be Xi’an Petroleum & Chemical Plant which was established in 1967. Xi’an Petroleum & Chemical Plant joined in China Xin Xing Petroleum Company on Dec. 1998, then merged into Sinopec Group Co. on Mar. 2000, and joined in China Petroleum &Chemical Corporation in the year of 2004.
Xi’an Petrochemical Company has been improved greatly in corporation producing capability, economy strength ,management standardization, corporation culture, personnel makings and other aspects, through assets reform and technology improvement. It has become China’s one of the five largest asphalt producing bases of Sinopec ,which is the second largest asphalt producer in Sinopec, and plays an important role just like bridgehead in west resources relay stratagem implementation of Sinopec and northwest market deploitation .
