SINOPEC Wuhan Company (called Wuhan Company for short) was established on the basis of SINOPEC Wuhan Petrochemical Works which was reorganized on February 28, 2000. Wuhan Company is mainly engaged in petroleum processing and petrochemical’s production. In June 2006, after reorganization of SINOPEC Wuhan Phoenix Company Ltd., its assets and staffs were entirely transferred to Wuhan Company.

The predecessor of Wuhan Company is Wuhan Petrochemical Works which began to be built in 1971, expanded in 1975 and put into production in 1977. It has 28 production units, with annual crude oil processing capacity of 8.5 million tons. Products quality guarantee system is approved by ISO9000 International Quality System. Wuhan Company can offer 25 kinds of products, including gasoline (90#, 93#, 97#, E90#, E93#, E97#), lamp kerosene, 3# jet fuel, light diesel oil (0#, -10#), naphtha, solvent oil (6#, 120#), alkyl benzene, naphthenic acid, MTBE, special heavy oil (1#, 2#, 3#), fuel oil (30#, 180#), industrial sheet sulfur, petroleum coke, polypropylene resin (powder, pellet), BTX (benzene, toluene, xylene) and LPG. These products are sold in 12 provinces, including Hubei, Hunan, Sichuan, Chongqing and so on.
