SINOPEC Hubei Chemical Fertilizer Company is located in the east gate of the Changjiang Three Gorges, Zhijiang City, Hubei Province. It has advantaged area location. With the ancient city Jingzhou to the east, the famous hydroelectricity city Yichang to the west, the Changjiang River to the south , the Shanghai-Chengdu expressway to the north. The company is favorably endowed with good energy resources, such as abundant phosphorite, brine and hydroelectricity resources. The natural gas can be transported to the company. It has a dedicated railway transport line which are linked by the railways throughout the country. Its products can be transported to the whole country by waterway, railway, highway and airway. The transportation is very convenient for the company.

Hubei Chemical Fertilizer Company is the only large-scale chemical fertilizer production enterprise in Hubei Province and it is also the large state enterprises for producing high quality fertilizer. Over the past 30 odd years it has accumulatively produced over 13 million tons of super urea. It has made a certain contribution to the agricultural production and farmers’ income. Its fixed assets is of 1.87billion yuan. It has two syngas production system which use natural gas and coal as raw material. The annual production capacity is 900,000 tons of synthesis ammonia for up stream unit and 330,000 tons of synthesis ammonia, 560,000 tons of urea for down stream unit. Besides synthesis ammonia and urea, it has subsidiary products such as nitrogen, oxygen, argon and sulphur, etc.

For more than 30years,the company has carried forward the good tradition of SINOPEC,it has formed an excellent enterprise culture by improving,learning and using advanced method of management. It has been the first continually  realized its production target for 15years in the the same industry of SINOPEC.It has been awarded many prizes such as “ May First National Medal”,“National Excellent Company for Equipment Management” “The Enterprise of Excellent Credit in Hubei province.” It has the certification of ISO-9001 international quality system. “Yangtse River Brand”urea has won the National Silver Medal for quality, “Famous brand products for Hubei Province” and the title of “Certification for 3A Quality Level”
