SINOPEC Luoyang Company is located at the north bank of Yellow River, close to Xiaolangdi Water Control Project, where is 30 kilometers from Luoyang City with No. 207 State Highway and Erguang Express Way to its east and Jiaozhi Railway Line on the west. Luoyang Company, composed of oil refinery, chemical & chemical fiber production, is a super large-scale petrochemical enterprise subordinated to China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (SINOPEC).

Luoyang Company owns many large-scale oil refining, chemical & chemical fiber production units and related auxiliary utilities and safety, environment protection facilities including a 8,000,000 t/y atmospheric and vacuum distillation unit, two sets of 1,400,000 t/y heavy oil catalytic cracking units, a 800,000 t/y solvent de-asphalting unit, a 700,000 t/y continuous catalytic reforming unit, a 600,000 t/y jet kerosene hydrofining unit, a 800,000 t/y catalytic diesel hydrofining unit, a 650,000 t/y gas fractionation unit, 1400,000 t/y delayed coking unit, a 2,200,000  t/y wax oil hydrofining unit, a 40,000 cubic meter/hour hydro generation unit, a 40,000 t/y sulphur recovery unit, a 80,000 t/y polypropylene unit, a 20,000 t/y BOPP plant, a 260,000 t/y aromatics extraction unit, a 215,000 t/y PX unit, a 325,000 t/y PTA unit, a 200,000 t/y PET unit, a 100,000 t/y direct spinning filament yarn unit and a 100,000 t/y direct spinning staple fiber unit etc.

Now there are more than 60 kinds of products made by Luoyang Company. The majors are: 97# gasoline, E97# gasoline, 93# gasoline, E93# gasoline, 90# gasoline, E90# gasoline,-10# diesel oil, 0# diesel oil, +5# diesel oil, 3# jet fuel, light kerosene, propylene, polypropylene, BOPP film, high tenacity polypropylene yarn, benzene, toluene, PX, PTA, polyester polymer & chips, FDY, POY, high tenacity and high modular cotton & wool type staple fiber etc.

By taking “Making the Enterprise Bigger & Stranger” as development principle, the production units & product mix is further optimized, product quality & management level is continuously increased and the key power is gradually enhanced. In 2009 Luoyang Company overcame the influence of international financial crises to achieve “three breakthrough”, i.e. the feed oil processing quantity reach 7090000 tons and 32 economic & technical indexes are the best record in our history. And the first phase of product quality updating project is completely fulfilled and the oil comprehensive processing capacity reaches 8,000,000t/y.

 The enterprise has past the authentication on ISO14001 Environment Management System and the authentication on ISO9001 Quality Management System so that the  integral management system of quality, environment and professional safety & health has been formed and the standardized, systematized and scientific management level of the enterprise has also being continuously increased. It was awarded by SINOPEC as the honorable title of “Advanced Environment Protection Enterprises” successively in four years. The scientific research achievement for “The Development & Industrial Application of Domestic Continuous Reforming Technology” cooperated with other companys wins the first prize of science & technology progress. At present, many professional management such as equipment management, environment greens and archives management are all at the advanced level in China. Luoyang Company have been successively awarded many honorable titles including “the National May-day Labor’s Medal”, “ National Excellent Enterprise in “National Best Model Family for Its Staff Members”, “The National Excellent League Committee”, “National Advanced Enterprise in Professional Morality Construction” etc.

Meanwhile, Luoayng Company tries hard to seek harmonious development and the environment is obviously improved in factory & community. In the factory， many trees are planted along both sides of the road and greenery patches is located everywhere. The rate of green coverage within the production yard reaches 36.29% to make the air very fresh. The community life function is constantly increased and the staff’s living environment is fine and comfortable through digital cable television reform, newly-built dining points, road widening & parking lot construction etc. And all the cultural & sports facilities, such as the club, stadium, football court, tennis & badminton court and table tennis city etc. are all available so that the level of the staff’s cultural life is also gradually increased.

In 2010 Luoyang Company will speed up the construction of 2600000 t/y diesel hydrofining project & the progress of 140,000 t/y polypropylene project and actively carry forward the 450,000 t/y PX project so as to make the comprehensive oil processing capacity reach 10,000,000 t/y, annual sales income exceed 40 billion RMB Yuan and realize the strategic development objective of “Three-Step-Development”.
