Baling Company of Sinopec Limited Company (Hereafter abbreviated as Baling Company) is an enterprise directly affiliated to China Petroleum and Chemical Corporation. It locates in Yueyang city of Hunan Province, which is near the Yangtze River and the Dongtign Lake, and is also close to the Beijing-Guangzhou Railway, the Beijing-Zhuhai Thruway and No.107 National Highway. So, it has extreme convenience in waterage and highway- transportation.

Baling Company is founded in April 2000, recombining former Dongting Nitrogen Plant and Yingshan Petro-Chemical Plant, which  were affiliated to Sinopec Baling Ltd. Now it has 20 sets of large-scale units in chemical industry, chemical fiber and chemical fertilizer. Its capacity of main products are: compond ammonia 360,000t/a, urea 600,000t/a, caprolactam 140,000t/a, cyclohexanone 12,500t/a, hydrogenperoxide 100,000t/a, compound fertilizer 100,000t/a, ammonia sulfate 100,000t/a, sulfuric acid 150,000t/a, nylon 6 slice 37,000t/a,  industrial raw- thread 13,000t/a, nylon packs 14,000,000 piece/a. it is the biggest caprolactam plant and the important chemical fertilizer plant in China.

The  "Furong"  Urea has won two Golden Medals of National Quality and is honored as  " a flower in south China"  by our customers; "Yingwang" caprolactam and  "Yingwang" ammonia sulfate, and  "Bairong"  hydrogenperoxide, etc have won the credit of  "Famous Products in Hunan"  for many years. With supporting of SINOPEC, Baling Company has enlarged the caprolactam capacity from 70,000t/a to 140,000t/a with our own intelligence property rights during the 10th Five-Year Plan. Now the Cprolactam Department has become a core business of the Baling Company, and even a dominant industry of Sinopec Baling Limited Company. It also drives domestic caprolactam production. At the same time, we have introduced  SHELL's Gasification technology and reconstructed the raw material route for chemical fertilizer. Coal Gasification Plant is on stream and manufactures certified urea on February 2, 2007. This project can not only reduce cost for urea production, but also can provide our company with low-cost H2, carbon, sulfate resource. Baling Company will develop fine chemical products with these resources to realize diversification of business and improve the ability of anti-risk for our enterprise.
