SINOPEC Beijing Yanshan Company (Yanshan Company for short below),established on July 20,1970 and situated in Fanshan district in the southwest suburbs of Beijing, is an extra large petrochemical complex under SINOPEC. Yanshan Company possesses 88 sets of main production plants and 71 sets of auxiliary plants with crude oil processing capacity of 10 million tons annually and 710,000 MTA of ethylene production capacity, it can produce 120 kinds and 494 grades of petrochemical products including gasoline, diesel oil, jet kerosene, paraffin wax, ethylene, polyethylene polypropylene, phenol, acetone, cis-poly butadiene rubber and butyl rubber etc.. Yanshan Company is one of the largest producers in China for the production of synthetic resin, synthetic rubber, phenol and acetone. On June 20,2007, the 10 million MTA refining expansion system was start-up successfully at one time. Yanshan Company became the first domestic production base for producing Euro-IV standard clean gasoline and diesel oil. Taking 10 years over the road of upgrading oil product which has taken 20 years by western countries.

Its twelve (12) categories of products including gasoline, PE, PP and BR etc. have been awarded for many times as super quality product at state, ministry and municipality level and won the title of “Beijing Famous Brand Product”. Yanshan Company has being pushing forward, in great scale, the technical progress and taken lead in the two rounds of ethylene plant revamping in China, thus its innovative development strategy of system optimization and tapping its own latent power has taken shape. Yanshan Company has possessed a number of domestic advanced self-developed technologies, in which 368 scientific and technical achievements have been passing ministry and municipality level appraisal and 269 achievements with patent right at domestic and abroad, and made an epoch for exporting Chinese petrochemical package technology.
