It also has set up 9 offices at local refineries, which are Sinopec Zhenhai company, Sinopec Maoming Company, Sinopec Qilu Company, Sinopec Xi’an Company, Sinopec Tahe Company, Sinopec Shanghai Petrochemical Co., Ltd, Sinopec Guangzhou Company, Sinopec Jinan Company and Sinopec Luoyang Company.

With an annual asphalt sales volume of 3,000,000 tons, the company has achieved 25% of the domestic market share and becomes a professional sales company with an integration of manufacture, sales, research and transportation.

With an operation of over 3 years, Asphalt Sales Branch Company has accumulated to sell 8,900,000 tons of asphalt, and reaches an industrial output of 23 billion yuan.

 “DONGHAI BRAND” asphalt includes nearly 50 types of asphalt, including road petroleum asphalt, modifed asphalt, emulsified asphalt, anti-flaming asphalt, color asphalt, and etc. The annual production capacity of heavy duty asphalt and modified asphalt reach to 4,000,000 tons, and 1,000,000 tons respectively. Strictly adhered to Technical Specification for Construction of Highway Asphalt Pavements of the Ministry of Communication and Standard of Heavy Duty road petroleum asphalt GB/T 15180, high-quality asphalt products are produced at a percentage above 80%. “DONGHAI BRAND” is a well-known asphalt brand with the largest capacity and most comprehensive variety in China.

Relying on Sinopec, Asphalt Sales Branch Company has a solid research and development strength, and collaborates with Research Institute and universities to develop new products. The company has initially produced grade A and B asphalt products meeting the new Standard of Road Petroluem Asphalt JTG F40-2004. Also the company has successfully developed special asphalt products, such as emulsified asphalt for high-speed railway, anti-flaming railway, anti-chlorine asphalt for over-sea bridge and so on. The company has actively involved in working out 3 national standards, and 19 industry standards.

Joining in the competition of domestic high-end market, Asphalt Sales Branch Company has supplied its products for high-grade roads in 25 provinces with its high-quality asphalt products and fine service network. “DONGHAI BRAND” asphalt has been widely used in key engineering projects of airport runways, expressways, municipal roads, bridge deck and national stadiums, including Shanghai F1 circuit, Hongqiao airport, Expressway section of Beijing airport, and Donghai bridge, Beijing national stadium and etc.

In 2004, Donghai brand Modified Polymer Asphalt and Its Manufacture Method for Formula 1 Racing Track has won the national invention patent, which has smashed up a monopoly of foreign asphalt technology in F1 circuit. In January 2005, Zhajiasu Expressway paved with “DONGHAI BRAND” asphalt received an annual Luban award for national high quality engineering projects.
