SINOPEC North China Company (hereinafter referred to as North China Company) is located in Zhengzhou, Henan province, China. It is one of Sinopec’s up-stream oilfield enterprises. By the end of 2010, North China Company entitles 14 oil & gas exploration and development blocks with an area of 25.6 thousand Km2, possesses 1.199 billion tons of oil, 2.53 trillion m3 of gas, 0.25224 billion tons of third level oil reserves and 0.9305 trillion m3 of third level gas reserves respectively. Ordos’ Daniudi gas field, Zhenjing oil field and Ningdong oil field are 3 production bases of North China Company, which produce more than 2.3 million tons of oil equivalents each year. The daily gas production in Ordos’ Daniudi gas field is more than 7 million m3, contributing it to the major gas supplier for Shandong, Henan, Hebei and Inner Mongolia in China.

During the ‘the twelfth-five year plan’ period, with the help of science, management and technology creation, North China Company will continue to enhance exploration and development for oil and gas under the banner of exploring west and developing gas. By the time of 2015, the goals are to discover 0.1billion tons of proved oil reserves and 0.5 trillion m3 of proved gas reserves respectively, to produce over 3 billion m3 of gas each year, as a result of 4 billion tons of oil equivalent on a yearly basis.
