The 3 grades OOIP is 3.328 billions ton of oil equivalent, of which proved reserves 1.079 billions ton of oil equivalent, probable 0.587 billions ton of oil equivalent, possible reserves 1.663 billions ton of oil equivalent. 6 oil and gas fields, which are Tahe, Xidaliya, Bashituo, Yakela, Dalaoba, S3-1, have been put in production.In 820 wells of total oil and gas wells, 679 are put in production, pump wells 415, daily oil production level 16703 tons, even daily oil production 25 tons for each well, daily gas 436 m3.

The first Paleozoic marine facies large oil field, Tahe oil field, was discovered, which recognized the real important breakthrough to Paleozoic marine facies carbonate oil-gas exploration in China. From 2003 to 2008, Tahe oil field developed rapidly, the average annual crude oil production rate amplitude is more than 0.6 million tons, which attributes to 80% of yearly incremental production of Sinopec. Tahe oil field has being been the most important oil crude incremental region and succeed region.
The oil-gas exploration and development work of Northwest branch has been gradually in the way of canonical and scientific development fast lane. The crude rate from 50 thousand tons in 1991 has rapidly reached 4.72 million tons in 2006. The oil field basal construction and surface productivity developed a lot. No.1, No2 and No.3 Tahe associate station Yakela, Dalaobai collection processing station have been set up early or later, and oil crude collection system, west to east system and the first heavy oil pipe laying in China have also been built up, which realized scientific collection processing for crude oil yielding. That will help a lot to Tahe oil field development.
