Located in Nanning, the capital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, SINOPEC Guangxi Oil Products Company (Be abbreviated to the company) is the only province level one in the minority municipal regions. Founded in 1952, the former Guangxi Petroleum Company was transferred to China Petrol Chemical Corporation in August of 1998. According to the principal of “reforming and separating from the main section”, Guangxi Oil Products Company and Guangxi Petroleum Company were founded in February of 2000. The company took over all choice assets and business of the former Guangxi Petroleum Company. In December of 2006,Guangxi Petroleam Company changed the system wholly as Guangxi Oil Products Company attached to the SINOPEC Capital Management Administration Co., Ltd.

Being the largest sale company of finished oil, the company has 9 branches and a wide, functional and high-tech sale net of finished oil. It provides finished oil in Guangxi such as gasoline, diesel oil, kerosene, lubricant, fuel oil and so on.

Taking the social consider and responsibility first, in 2007, the company focused on development, facing actively the market change and resource shortage, and collected the oil resource more in order to meet the need of the oil product market.  The index of finished oil operation has increased by 13%, retail proportion by 11% and direct sale by 15%. Other indexes, such as operation, retail proportion, direct sale proportion and the retail proportion of the high mark oil, increased the input to the market thereto guarantee the enough offer though the prices of the import oil products being higher than the sale ones.

Insisted on taking strict and fine management, the company put emphasis on safety management by following the main line as strengthen management, executed seriously the <Safety Production Ban of the Group Company>. It made strictly production management and detected the oil production seriously so that the safety level developed a lot in recent years. It took highly control on the cost and budget, detailed the inner management, control the flexible charge to improve the capital and charge cycle. Meanwhile it took up with energy saving and consume decrease so that to decrease 18% electric consume and 51% water consume. The energy saving result lined in the top range of the sales system in SINOPEC.

The company improved information construction to realized the information management on office, operation, finance, logistics, capital and audit.
The company insisted on profiling network and improved the network function. In 2007,with the opportunity of developing network, the company pushed the petrol stations construction and images reform in order to improve the network and brand image. It executed the ethanol petrol project to build 13 ethanol petrol prepare centers to improve the hardware level of oil storehouse and whole function.
