Sinopec Guangdong Oil Company (hereinafter referred to as Guangdong Oil Company) is a marketing and sales company directly subordinate to China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation, mainly engaged in retail, direct sales and wholesale business of refined oil, lubricating oil and fuel oil. After years of construction and development, Guangdong Oil Company has developed into a large-scale state-owned company with 16 branches at city (or regional) level, a network of over 2000 outlets and a total assets of RMB 16.188 billion yuan; which is a major supplier of oil products in oil market of Guangdong province with a sales network across Guangdong province and a service system approaching perfection day by day.

In 2008, Guangdong Oil Company, always adhering to the “customer first” principle as always, tried every means to provide “oil products of high quality and full volume, warm and convenient service” to customers. In 2008, a full-year sales volume of oil was 15,990,000 tons, in which refined oil was 14,520,000 tons, lubricating oil was 280,000 tons, and fuel oil was 1,160,000 tons. We took the full responsibility of stabilizing oil market and protecting consumer’s interest and made every effort to increase market supply when the resources of oil products were short to guarantee supply at special time for special events such as fighting with the ice and snow disaster, the Beijing Olympic Game, summer ploughing, summer sowing and summer harvesting; to improve the function of our sales network and explore new service, we added some services besides oil sales, such as convenience store, restaurant, auto service center at our gas stations to provide a better service to our customers; we also strengthened service awareness of staff member and standardized management to improve service level; we attached great importance to environmental protection and safety; we regarded the quality of oil products as the lifeline of our company; we continuously strengthened control of safety risks and increased input in quality and quantity inspection of oil products, and we strengthened management on the whole service process to effectively protect consumers’ interest from being infringed.
