China Petrochemical Group Hunan Branch,formlerly called China Petroleum Corporation Changsha Branch was founded in 1950. It became a provincial enterprise in 1985,the Hunan Petroleum Corporation, a jointly managed three-level (the provincial, the regional, and the county-level) corporation. In 1998, it was reorganized to be China Petrochemical Group Hunan Branch, thesubsidiary company of China Petrochemical Group in Hunan province for selling petroleum products.

The main business of the branch include wholesale, retail, and distribution of gasoline, diesel, kerosene, lubricating oil, and fuel oil in Hunan province. It has a sound sales network run by a tem of experienced salesmen covering all the cities and countryside in Hunan. 5.82 million tons of oil has been sold in 2010. The total sales reached 37 billion Yuan.

The aim of the branch is to make it a competitive, profitable and scientifically managed, petroleum products sailing corporation with its assets and financial affairs soundly running The branch is now taking efforts to realize the aim.
