SINOPEC Jiangxi company is short for SINOPEC Jiangxi Oil Products Company which was founded in October 1950 and transformed & restructured in recent years. In October 1998, Jiangxi Petroleum Corporation was transformed into China Petroleum and Chemical Corporation.In February 2000, the main industry was restructured into SINOPEC Jiangxi oil products company,and the secondary including assets and personnel was integrated into Jiangxi Petroleum Corporation which is subordinated to China Petroleum and Chemical Corporation. On March 28, 2007 Jiangxi Petroleum Corporation was transformed into China Petrochemical Assets Management Corporation Jiangxi oil products company, Assets Corporation Jiangxi Company for short. The company mainly sells, stores and transports product oil and now has dominated the market sales of product oil in Jiangxi.It has 12 branches and 94 retail districts distributed in different regions and lots of retail points spreading everywhere in Jiangxi.

In 2008, under the correct leadership of Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee & Provincial Government,SINOPEC Jiangxi company has steadily intensified their study of the scientific concept of development, strives to build itself into  a new type of petrochemical enterprise with the concept of  "integrity,innovation, harmony and prosperity", and continues to get the new breakthrough of reformation and development. It has actively carried out the activity of " Jiangxi Oil Elevation Anniversary". I t attaches the importance in establishing the system and improving the comprehensive quality of the enterprise, and gradually forms a specific management mode of Jiangxi petroleum.During this year,the company also takes full advantages of the Jiangxi Provincial main channel for the supply of product oil, thus guarantees the supply of product oil and the safety of the enterprise. All of these have made outstanding contributions to the victory in struggling against ice. It has been entitled "advanced collective in struggling against ice" by the State-owned Assets Supervision of the State Council & Administration Commission of the State Council and the Jiangxi Provincial Government. It has also successfully achieved the annual operating targets and tasks, 3,676,000 tons of total annual quantity, and 3,600,000 tons of product oil, increased by 11.7% compared with the same period of the last year.
