SINOPEC Anhui Oil Products Company£¨hereinafter referred to as AOPC£©is a large-scale state-owned petroleum marketing enterprise, whose predecessor is Anhui Provincial Petroleum Corporation, and has turned into a listed company in line with the reorganization requirements of SINOPEC. It is mainly engaged in the distribution, storage and transportation of gasoline, diesel oil, kerosene, lubricating oil and fuel oil. It also runs the operation of oil depots, design and installation of gas station facilities, as well as various kinds of business such as liquid gas, asphalt and fertilizer.

Headquartering in the city of Hefei, At the end of 2007, the company already owned 1382 gas stations in business; its total assets reached 4.4 billion Yuan, inclusive of the fixed assets of 2.1 billion Yuan. The company had 26 oil depots, the total capacity of which is 550,000 cubic meters. Moreover, it possessed 17 special railway lines, with a total length of 14,713 meters, and 12 unloading quays of oil.

In 2007, AOPC adhered to the working principle of “Security, Market, Stability, Profit”, stressing the implementation of every aspect of work, upgrading the enterprise's overall operating level to a new height. The annual sales volume reached 4,278,500 tons in 2007, increasing by 6.1% compared with the same period of the previous year. Specifically, the amount of the finished oil was 4,143,600 tons, increasing by 8.5%; lubricating oil was 80,600 tons. The retail sales reached 2,920,400 tons, with an increase of 10.1% compared with the same period in 2006; direct sales were 1,017,300 tons, increasing by 10.9%.
