SINOPEC Shanghai Oil Products Company (Shanghai branch thereafter), is a large scale ready-made oil-sales subsidiary of SINOPEC. The former of Shanghai branch is China Petroleum Company Limited.

In September 1998, along with the decision of State Council to establish SINOPEC and CNPC two groups, the company was included into the Sinopec Corp. And in Feb 2002, in accordance with Sinopec’s requirement of restructure and IPO, its main part was turned into Sinopec Shanghai Oil Products Company.

The company focuses on retail, wholesale, distribution and stock of fuel oil, lubricant oil £¬other oil products and non-oil business including convenience stores in gas stations and so on.

In more than 50 years the company has been holding the banner of “step by step without end” to serve the whole Shanghai city. With generations of hard work, the company has owned a sales and distribution network allover Shanghai area and summarized many scientific management methods and service standards, especially after entering China Petroleum & Chemical Group.
