Tianjin Oil Products Company of China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (hereinafter referred to SINPOEC Tianjin Oil Products Company) is directly under sales enterprise SINOPEC, mainly engaged in retail, direct marketing, and wholesale of product oil, lubricant, fuel oil, and other non-oil business. Built-up in March 1950, the company was formerly known as Tianjin Oil Group Co., Ltd. and since June of 1998, was named China Oil and Chemical Corporation. In April 2000, the system was changed to SINOPEC Tianjin Oil Products Company, completed business management system in October 2004, and built business management systems with "one-level management and one-level accounting", "flat management and professional operation".

During several years pioneering spirit, SINOPEC Tianjin Oil Products Company has established the sales network and service system with reasonable distribution and the prefect establishments, throughout the urban and rural areas, become the largest refined oil enterprise in the region of Tianjin. At the end of 2008, the total assets reached 2.935 billion Yuan, of which was 2.415 billion Yuan of non-current assets. We owned 487 gas stations and 4 oil depots. The whole content was about 210,000 cubic meters.

The company always adheres to the operation principle of serving Tianjin economic development, and provides with adequate volume of high quality energy for consumers. In 2008, facing to the complex and ever-changing market situation, the company followed to the policy of “Market, Security, Stability, Profit” to respond to the market actively, and adjusted the marketing strategy in time. From the view of "politics, situation, and duty "to ensure the supply of product oil in special periods, which are "earthquake relief", "Olympic", "Three-Summer", and "Three-Autumn". In 2008, the company had 2,802,700 tons operation volume, business revenue 1,586,700 Yuan, and delivered 282 million Yuan of various taxes. The occupancy of the market was over 70%.
