Mr. Zhang Youcai, 69, Independent Supervisor and Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Committee of Sinopec Corp. Mr. Zhang is a professor with a Bachelor’ Degree. From February 1983, Mr. Zhang served as Deputy Mayor, Deputy Party Secretary and Mayor of Nantong City. From December 1989, Mr. Zhang acted as Vice Minister and Member of the Party Committee of Ministry of Finance (From May 1994 to March 1998, he concurrently served as Director General of State-owned Assets Administration Bureau). From March 2003, Mr. Zhang served as Member of the Standing Committee of the 10th National People's Congress (NPC) and Deputy Director General of Financial and Economic Committee of NPC. Mr. Zhang served as an Independent Director of the Board of Directors of Sinopec Corp. from April 2003. Mr. Zhang was elected as Independent Supervisor and Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Committee of Sinopec Corp. in May 2006.
