Mr. Chen Xiaojin, 66, Independent Non-Executive Director of Sinopec Corp. Mr. Chen is a senior engineer with a Bachelor’s Degree. From December 1982, he acted as President of Tianjin Shipbuilding Corporation. From January 1985, he acted as Vice President and President of China Offshore Oil Platform Company. From February 1987, he consecutively served as Director General of Business Dept., Director General of Foreign Affairs Bureau, Director General of International Dept. and Vice President of China Shipbuilding Trading Co., Ltd. (CSTC). From December 1988, he acted as Vice President of China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC), concurrently acted as President of CSTC since January 1989, and concurrently acted as Chairman of CSTC since October 1996. From June 1999 to July 2008, he was President and Secretary of the CPC Party Committee of the CSSC. From May 2009, Mr. Chen was elected as Independent Non-Executive Director of Sinopec Corp.
