Mr. Dai Houliang, 44, Director of the Board of Directors, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Sinopec Corp. Mr. Dai graduated with a bachelor's degree from Jiangsu Chemical Institute in July 1985 and obtained a Ph.D. degree from Nanjing University of Technology in December 2006. Mr. Dai is a professor-level senior engineer. From December 1997, Mr. Dai served as Vice President of Sinopec Yangzi Petrochemical Company. From April 1998, Mr. Dai served as Director and Vice President of Sinopec Yangzi Petrochemical Co., Ltd. From July 2002, Mr. Dai served as Vice Chairman and President of Sinopec Yangzi Petrochemical Co., Ltd. and Director of Sinopec Yangzi Petrochemical Company. From December 2003, Mr. Dai served as Chairman and President of Sinopec Yangzi Petrochemical Co., Ltd. and Chairman of Sinopec Yangzi Petrochemical Company. From December 2004, Mr. Dai held a concurrent position as Chairman of BASF-YPC Co., Ltd. From September 2005, Mr. Dai acted as Deputy Chief Finance Officer of Sinopec Corp. From November 2005, Mr. Dai acted as Vice President of Sinopec Corp. Mr. Dai was elected as Director of the Third Session of the Board of Directors of Sinopec Corp. and was appointed as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Sinopec Corp. in May 2006.
