Mr. Wang Zhigang, 50, Director of the Board of Directors and Senior Vice President of Sinopec Corp. Mr. Wang graduated from East China Petroleum Institute in January 1982 and obtained a master's degree from China University of Petroleum in June 2000. Mr. Wang obtained a Ph.D. degree from Geology and Geophysics Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in September 2003. Mr. Wang is a professor -level senior engineer. From February 2000, Mr. Wang served as Vice President of Sinopec Shengli Oilfield Co., Ltd. From June 2000, Mr. Wang acted as Director and President of Sinopec Shengli Oilfield Co., Ltd. From November 2001, Mr. Wang served as Honorary Deputy Director General of the Economic and Trade Committee of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. From April 2003, Mr. Wang served as Vice President of Sinopec Corp. From June 2003, Mr. Wang held a concurrent position as the Director General of Sinopec Exploration and Production Dept. From March 2005, Mr. Wang served as Senior Vice President of Sinopec Corp. Mr. Wang was elected as Director of the Third Session of the Board of Directors and was appointed as Senior Vice President of Sinopec Corp. in May 2006.
